호퍼의 그림에서는 고독이라는 인간 실존을 대면할 수 있다.

그의 그림에는 확실히 치유적인 능력이 있는 것 같다.

이런게 바로 예술 ....

"Look at someone like Steve Jobs. His look wasn’t very special — black turtleneck and jeans — but he had style. He looked the same, and you knew it was him when you saw him. Plus he was a very smart person, which is also very attractive. His style was simple, not distracting, and very strong."

I am writing today to share some exciting news regarding your work, and the Rhizome ArtBase.

Since it's establishment in 1999 the ArtBase has grown to become one of the most comprehensive and historic archives of Internet art, new media, and creative practices that engage emerging technologies. The ArtBase is now used extensively by curators, historians, educators and students, as a research tool and resource for exhibitions, academic writing, and classroom instruction.

In an effort to further cement the prominence and historic legacy of the creative practices pinoeered by our community, Rhizome has initiated records sharing initiatives with other institutions, the first of which being ARTstor. Through this initiative, images of works from the ArtBase will be available to an international audience of researchers that extend far beyond the Rhizome community. You are receiving this email because one or more works of yours in the ArtBase has been selected for inclusion!
